The american autonomous delivery company Nuro has raised $600 million in a Series D fundraising round. The new investor Tiger Global Management led the event.

Baillie Gifford, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Gaorong Capital, Kroger, SoftBank Vision Fund 1, and others attended the round. As a first time NURO investor, Google also has joined. The company has signed a five-year strategic partnership with Google Cloud too.

The amount raised during the round, will be used to support the development and deployment of Nuro’s autonomous delivery service in communities across the US and to scale the production of Nuro’s 3rd generation. According to expectation, that would be low-speed, electric self-driving vehicles at the company’s new manufacturing facility in Nevada.
