It is recommended for those of you who are looking for a non-Pro iPhone to get the iPhone 13 instead of the iPhone 14. The regular 14 models don’t introduce any exciting changes, which begs the question of whether the high price is worth it.

Especially for all iPhone lovers, today we have chosen to share with you a more interesting topic, namely some of the reasons why it’s worth waiting a few more months until the release of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, presented by XDA Developers.

The current iPhone cycle is nearing its end
Apple is notorious for keeping the prices of its iPhones the same from the moment they are released until the day they are discontinued or replaced. So even when an iPhone’s cycle comes to an end, customers still have to pay the same full price. Apple may have just released a new yellow iPhone 14, but the iPhone 14 is near the finish line.

In the fall, you can get the next-generation iPhone 15 for the same price you bought the older model, if you’re not in a hurry.

All iPhone 15 models could feature the Dynamic Island
With the launch of the iPhone 14 series, Apple has for the first time abandoned the controversial notch in favour of the all-new dynamic island. As expected, this new notch in the display is exclusive to the Pro variants for now. So if you’re not planning to get your hands on one of the iPhone 14 Pro models, you’ll have to make do with the notch. According to users who use Dynamic Island it is very good. It’s convenient and offers intuitive shortcuts.

There are rumors that Dynamic Island will debut on the iPhone without the Pro in September.

Apple could finally strike its Lightning port
A significant proportion of people don’t upgrade their iPhones every year. They can last for years, especially with Apple’s commitment in the software updates department. So if you’re inclined to upgrade every few years, you might really want to wait for the iPhone 15 for one main reason: Apple might finally be ditching the Lightning port in favor of the universally accepted USB Type-C port.

That means your iPhone, iPad, and MacBook will finally use the same charging cable. Many other non-Apple devices also use a USB Type-C port, saving you from having to carry around several different cables and adapters. However, if you rely exclusively on MagSafe charging and wireless data transfer, this point may not apply to you.

Pro iPhone 15 variants could get a fresh exterior
Apple typically introduces a change to the basic chassis design once every three years or so. Since the iPhone 12 Pro, Pro iPhones have looked almost identical, featuring a case made of stainless steel. If the weather stays consistent, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max could finally bring some notable changes.

According to some sources of information, these premium phones may have a more curved edge that will make them more comfortable to hold. Additionally, they may have thinner display bezels, which will make room for more screen area. Also, Apple may abandon the use of stainless steel and instead introduce a titanium body.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max could pack a periscope lens
According to rumors, this device will be exclusively equipped with a periscope lens. This means you will be able to use better optical and digital zoom features. The leak hints at a 6x optical zoom, which is a significant jump over the 3x zoom available in the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. So if you tend to take a lot of photos, you might want to wait a few more months to get an improved camera system at a similar price.

UK Watchdog Is About to Restrict Cryptoassets’ Advertising https://devstyler.io/blog/2022/01/19/uk-watchdog-is-about-to-restrict-cryptoassets-advertising/ Wed, 19 Jan 2022 09:06:12 +0000 https://devstyler.io/?p=79258 ...]]> Britain’s financial watchdog is about to introduce restrictions on marketing cryptoassets and other high-risk investments, said Reuters.

The reason for this decision is the surge in investment scams, especially these online since the coronavirus pandemic began in 2020. The FCA said in a statement.

“When it does, the FCA plans to categorise qualifying cryptoassets as ‘Restricted Mass Market Investments’, meaning consumers would only be able to respond to cryptoasset financial promotions if they are classed as restricted, high net worth or sophisticated investors.”

It added:

“Firms issuing such promotions would have to adhere to FCA rules, such as the requirement to be clear, fair and not misleading.”

The Financial Conduct Authority said the draft rules, put out to public consultation, prepare the ground for the government to bring in promotions of cryptoassets under the watchdog’s remit, according to Reuters.

North Korean Hackers Stole €350M In Crypto  https://devstyler.io/blog/2022/01/17/north-korean-hackers-stole-e350m-in-crypto/ Mon, 17 Jan 2022 07:55:23 +0000 https://devstyler.io/?p=79127 ...]]> At least seven attacks on cryptocurrency platforms launched in North Korea last year. It extracted nearly $400 million (€350 million) worth of digital assets. In a new report Chainalysis said:

“From 2020 to 2021, the number of North Korean-linked hacks jumped from four to seven, and the value extracted from these hacks grew by 40 per cent.”

The report added:

“Once North Korea gained custody of the funds, they began a careful laundering process to cover up and cash out.”

A United Nations panel of experts that monitors sanctions on North Korea has accused Pyongyang of using stolen funds to support its nuclear and ballistic missile programmes to circumvent sanctions.

North Korea does not respond to media inquiries. However, it has previously released statements denying allegations of hacking.

The United States charged three North Korean computer programmers working for the country’s intelligence service last year. The accused was connected to a massive, years-long hacking spree aimed at stealing more than $1.3 billion (€1.14 billion) in money and cryptocurrency. The hacker attack affected companies from banks to Hollywood movie studios.

Cryptocurrency Prices Today on August 3: Bitcoin falls nearly 2% https://devstyler.io/blog/2021/08/03/cryptocurrency-prices-today-on-august-3-bitcoin-falls-nearly-2/ Tue, 03 Aug 2021 14:49:08 +0000 https://devstyler.io/?p=63492 ...]]> The good Bitcoin news: In July, the signature cryptocurrency rose 21% on strong endorsements from such prestigious backers as Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey. The bad news: En route to that gain, Bitcoin took the wildest of roller-coaster rides. Its careening course shows once again that Bitcoin is likely the most volatile major asset class ever to be taken seriously. Skeptics might argue that the stumbling and ascents are so extreme, and put investors at such risk, that it shouldn’t be taken seriously.

Bitcoin zigzags crazily on its way to a comeback

Over the 22 business days in July, Bitcoin swung a total of 40.7% from its low on July 20 of $29,308 to a high on July 31 of $41,598. By mid-morning on Aug. 2, it has fallen 5.6% from that summit to $39,396. On its two least volatile days, July 22 and 23, its variances from low to high were 2.8% and 2.9%. On 11 days, or half the time, it was worth at least 5% more at its best level than at its worst. Its biggest leap from bottom to top: 17.7% on July 26 on speculation that Amazon might be venturing into digital currencies.
