Several Wordle’s duplicates have been removed from Apple’s App Store.

The online word game was created by Josh Wardle, Reddit’s ex-software engineer. However, identical applications were created by some developers with the intention of making users download their clone apps.

The only application, which now “lives” in the App Store space is “Wordle!” which is a similar game but created several years ago by Steven Cravotta.

Recently, “Wordle” turned out to be a number one topic in social media such as Facebook and Twitter, as a result of players who posted their scores. Some of the big advantages of this game is the fact that it contains no ads and is free to use, and people are not supposed to download it from Apple’s App Store or Google Play Store.
