The date of the upcoming edition of Code Week has already been announced. The event is starting on October 8 and it lasts until 23rd October. The aim of the global initiative is to make countries all over the world burst with coding activities.

This year the EU Code Week celebrates its 10th anniversary and the organizers are promising to deliver an unforgettable experience. The purpose of the event is for people of all ages to learn programming, bring their ideas to life digitally and actively shape the future. The event includes many activities like podcasts and different groups and tutorials for learning. All of the activities are free and anyone can join them.

The results of the last EU Code Week were announced: in 2021, EU Code Week set a new record with more than 78,000 activities organized worldwide. This year it is expected to exceed this statistic. It’s the 10th edition of the event this year so it’s going to be special for the company and all the participants involved. It’s run by volunteers so anyone can join the organization process as well as the participation one.

The first edition of Code Week’s programming convention was in 2013 and it’s been a tradition ever since.
