- At least 1-2 years professional experience. Core Java (version 8 will be a plus)
- Knowledge of the object oriented programming and its principles
- Understanding of multithreading in Java
- Experience with JUnit or TestNG
- Experience with networking (TCP/UDP, Client –Server communication, network ports etc.)
- Knowledge of the most common communication protocols (HTTP/s, FTP etc.)
- Experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database will be a plus)
- Basic knowledge of SQL (CRUD)
- Basic understanding of Linux or other UNIX based OS
- Troubleshooting/problem solving skills
nice-to-have:
- Some experience with Maven (or other build tool)
- Some experience with Selenium based UI testing would be a plus
- Experience with RESTful services
- Experience with SoapUI
- Experience with Virtualization
