Tick42 is a software development company founded in 2010 in Sofia, where is the company headquarters. Оur co-founders/CTOs still acting as technical managers in the office in Sofia, whereas our CEO and sales team are located in London.
The company has its own product (Glue42 – https://glue42.com) and in parallel, provides professional services and consulting to its clients. A dedicated product team takes care of the development of Glue42 t, and the focus of our second division is on the implementation and management of projects for clients according to their needs and requirements.
Tick42 offers software development services and its product mainly in the international Financial and FinTech markets, and is gradually getting into other verticals, such as insurance and telecommunications.
An important note: we do not practice the typical outsourcing activity because 99% of the time we create software implementations for clients, which subsequently become interconnected with our product (in the same environments).

- We have switched to a remote working environment and at this stage we do not have plans to return to the office. The work from the office is optional. Despite the pandemic situation, our work on projects with clients hasn’t stopped and hasn’t decreased, we continue to grow (in terms of both clients and projects). We have adopted a hiring practice for new colleagues who are not based in Sofia but are motivated to join from distance.
- We define ourselves as a flexible, modern and progressive software company, with informal communication and an environment that encourages proactivity. We teach our employees but we also learn from them.
- Currently, our recruitment process is conducted virtually through video channels and includes up to 2-3 steps (with duration up to 2 hours), within a maximum of 2 weeks. We can always offer interesting work on projects in our service division (no on-the-bench time). The hiring of new colleagues is more active for our service division.
