For the second consecutive year, the company held a Month of Volunteering – over several Saturdays, dozens of volunteers united in support of various causes and significant objects

Inspired by the success of last year’s campaign, the Bosch Bulgaria team once again dedicated time and energy to a variety of causes this autumn. The second edition of the company’s Volunteering Month brought together more than 150 associates and their families, who contributed over 600 hours of volunteering work. This year’s edition featured four different initiatives in support of public, cultural, environmental, and social organizations. Activities included cleaning and revitalizing the National Museum of Military History, building and refurbishing wooden structures in Vitosha Nature Park, refreshing and repainting the facilities of the “St. Vrach” Day Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities, and improving the conditions at the “Band of 1500” dog shelter in Seslavtsi.

At the National Museum of Military History, volunteers helped to maintain museum exhibits and improved the surrounding outdoor areas.

In Vitosha Nature Park, teams worked on building new wooden structures such as bridges, platforms, and benches, as well as painting, varnishing, and cleaning the “Golden Bridges” area.

The initiative at the “St. Vrach” Day Center focused on refreshing the indoor spaces and the outdoor yard to create a more welcoming environment.

Meanwhile, at the “Band of 1500” dog shelter, volunteers enhanced the living conditions for the animals, repaired existing facilities, and built new ones. The youngest participants joined in by walking and playing with the dogs, sharing time, care, and well-deserved treats.

Bosch Bulgaria supported each location by providing the necessary materials, and Bosch Power Tools contributed to the renovation and construction work during the initiatives.

As last year, the Month of Volunteering was organized in partnership with the BCause Foundation, a long-standing partner of Bosch in the field of corporate volunteering and donation programs.

The second edition of the campaign once again confirms Bosch Bulgaria’s belief in the power of community, empathy, and positive example. The company consistently combines the efforts of its associates through targeted donation and volunteer initiatives, proving that sustainable change and contribution to society begin with responsible actions.
