Intel introduced the new vPro platform, designed specifically for businesses to meet ever-changing needs with comprehensive security.
Intel vPro is powered by the full range of 13th generation Intel Core processors. It also comes with the necessary hardware for companies to upgrade their PC capabilities and employee productivity.
The expanded sales portfolio will provide more than 170 notebooks, desktops and entry-level workstations from partners this year. This list includes Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Fujitsu, Panasonic and Samsung.
“With our new 13th Gen Intel Core processors, the Intel vPro platform remains the premier business computing foundation, providing the best in security, business management and performance for organizations of all sizes”,
said Stephanie Hallford, Commercial Client Division Vice President and General Manager, Intel.
Intel vPro prevents threats through a variety of built-in security capabilities and minimizes the attack surface by about 70% compared to four-year-old PC models.
New memory encryption using IT will take virtualization-based security in Windows to the next level.
Intel’s threat detection technology will also give customers greater options for choosing an endpoint detection and response (EDR) vendor, making it easier to detect the latest threats more effectively.
13th Gen Intel Core processors on Intel vPro platforms offer edge application developers edge processing performance, remote device manageability, powerful security tools and more to get the most out of their data.
