Elon Musk has officially renamed Twitter to “X” and changed the iconic bird logo, NBC News reports. The billionaire said the x.com domain now automatically redirects users to the platform’s website.

Plans for the drastic change have been in the works since early June, when Ilon said the bird now known to the world would be replaced with the letter X instead.
Musk tweeted Sunday that the idea of changing the logo to “X” was to “embody the imperfections in us all that make us unique.”
“And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds,” he wrote.
This is the latest sweeping change.
We remind you that last year Musk acquired Twitter for 44 billion dollars. Immediately after that, he fired members of the leadership team, including CEO Parag Agrawal and CFO Ned Segal.
What will be the next drastic change? We have yet to find out.
