Thomson Reuters has convened leading AI organizations — including Anthropic, AWS, Google Cloud, and OpenAI — to form the Trust in AI Alliance, an initiative focused on advancing reliable and accountable AI systems. The alliance, launched on January 14, 2026, aims to engineer trust directly into agentic AI architectures, share insights on verification and interpretability, and define shared principles for deploying AI responsibly in high-stakes professional environments, according to the company’s press release. Joel Hron, CTO at Thomson Reuters, noted the critical need for trust as AI autonomy increases.
