Prashant Bhatt will be the new Programming Head for Sony Pictures, Sony SAB. His new responsibilities will include leading the content and programming division for the channel, and managing the content line-up and the channel’s creative strategy.

For an over 27-year career behind his back, Prashant has held key leadership positions across broadcast media and creating new show concepts. At the beginning of his career he was just a writer and creative director but as time passes by, Prashant became one of the most recognizable figures across the industry. Not only that but he was headlining innovation strategies for Dangal TV, Zee Punjabi, Colors, etc. Prashant Bhatt, commented:

Prashant will report to Neeraj Vyas, business head, Sony SAB. Vyas commented:

Vyas also noted that he is confident that Prashant’s experience and volition would be helpful in order to strengthen their programming capabilities. In Vyas’s opinion, Pershant will be playing a key role in ensuring we devise and execute a standout premium slate with ground-breaking narratives and high quality content for their viewers.
