ChatGPT can now read the answers to your questions out loud. For example, it can read aloud the ingredients for a recipe you’ve asked it about, and you can just walk around the kitchen while you listen instead of carrying your phone with you and taking your eyes off the screen.

For iOS and Android users, the feature is called “Read Aloud,” and you can activate it by long-tapping the phone’s screen. To access this feature on the web, tap the new speaker icon that now appears below the message.

You can also set up automatic read aloud, which means that all messages in a given conversation will be read aloud by ChatGPT. Users can also ask ChatGPT to pause, fast forward or rewind, and change the preferred reader voice.
