Right now, our hiring process is in progress for new full-time front-end additions in the Professional services division of Tick42, where long-term works are waiting behind the corner. All approved candidates will pass through an entirely virtual recruitment process and those who join us will have the freedom to work remotely.
Your working days with us will look like:
– Development and delivery of sophisticated single web page apps for corporate clients (innovative and powerful names in the financial/fintech industries)
– Communication with multi-side international clients in order to turn their requirements into a working product
– Selection of the right tools for solving specific problems
– Supplementary activities such as packaging, testing and documentation
– Working as part of a small team or independently on assignments
– Running projects through Agile software development principles
– Taking on challenging everyday tasks that would give you opportunities to go out of your comfort zone and stretch your brain
Must-haves for the position:
– Minimum 3 years of experience with Angular
– Hands-on experience with TypeScript
– Experience with asynchronous programming (Promises and/or async/await, RxJS)
– Experience with a responsive CSS framework such as Bootstrap
– Experience with component and unit testing library/ies
– On-the-job experience with dependency management and packaging using npm and Webpack
– Experience with a modern VCS such as Git (preferred)
– Fluent command of written and spoken English
– Excellent problem-solving skills and can-do mindset
– Eagerness to improve yourself by adopting new skills, sharing ideas and finding elegant solutions to complicated problems
– Curiosity to explore unknown fields and courage to speak up when it’s necessary
– Willingness to consider advice, feedback, new ideas, different perspectives
– Feeling of comfort and confidence during communication with clients
– Keenness to gain an in-depth understanding of the financial/fintech industry
Experience/Knowledge with the following will be in a great favour:
– Experience with integration and E2E testing
– Experience with Bootstrap 4+
– Experience with SASS (SCSS)
– Experience with Swagger and/or OpenAPI OAS v2+
– Node.js + Express – for stubbing/mocking/demo purposes only
