Georgi Yanchev has joined Bulgarian software company Chaos Group as Chief Financial Officer. He will support the company’s management in a key moment as Chaos Group expands its portfolio of technologies for computer graphics and reinforces its leadership position in the sector.

Yanchev has many years of experience in corporate financing, risk management, auditing, restructuring and team development. In 2019, he was awarded the prestigious CFO of the Year award in the SME category in Bulgaria for his achievements as Group Financial Director at Software Group.

Over the last 13 years as a financial manager, Yanchev has worked on the development of corporate strategies and restructuring, optimization of processes and resources, international expansion, M&A and Due Diligence. As well as experience in the tech sector, Yanchev has worked in financial services, energy, industry, trade, transportation and logistics, construction and real estate, and holding structures.

Georgi Yanchev grew up in the town of Smolyan and graduated from the local mathematics high school. He later graduated with a BA in Finance and Accounting from the American University in Bulgaria. He has additional qualifications in business management.
