What we look for:

For one of our clients with an office in Sofia, we are searching for a full-time (Remote) Mid/Senior Java Software Developer to join an existing team of an industry-leading company that offers Data Analytics, Risk, Debt and Fraud management solutions, services for Decision automation and Identity verification.

The newcomer will join our UST Global Sofia IT Hub.

The role:

• Developing scalable and easily maintainable Java applications
• Developing comprehensive documentation and related artefacts
• Integrating the products with other external products and frameworks
• Producing unit tests
• Working in a distributed multicultural environment
• Participating in Scrum team meetings
• Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines
• Conducting code reviews and approving pull requests
• Assisting in on-boarding process of new team members

Skills and experience required:

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Java 8/11
• Experience in development, design and implementation of Microservices
• Strong experience with Servlets and the Spring framework
• Excellent understanding of OOP concepts and proven expertise with design patterns and Java architectures
• Understanding and proven expertise in Lambdas, Functional Interfaces and Streams
• Experience with JDBC and Relational Databases
• Extensive experience with Web Services: SOAP & REST
• Experience with development of Unit Tests
• Excellent understanding and use of Git and Jira
• Familiarity with at least one Application Server – Apache Tomcat, Jetty, RedHat, JBoss, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
