We are looking for Senior Analytics Architect to join our Global Software Group!
Experian® Decision Analytics (DA) integrates predictive data and analytics into valuable business decisions that provide greater insight into decision performance and helps companies keep pace with changing business priorities. By applying expert consulting, analytical tools, software and systems to convert data into valuable business decisions. Our expertise spans a variety of industries and we provide software to some of the world’s largest finance, telcos and other blue-chip companies. The crown jewel in our software suite is PowerCurve which provides best-in-class decisioning applied across the whole customer lifecycle from customer acquisition to in-life and collections, as well as in fraud detection and identity resolution systems. Our development teams are focused on developing innovative, highly customizable and user-friendly decisioning and fraud and identity solutions. Currently we have been promoting a cloud-first approach as we transform to a SaaS model, whilst promoting the integration if Decision and Analytics though an innovative concept based on Machine Learning promoting a comprehensive capability for ML Ops across the entire decision lifecycle: from learning to deployment, benchmarking, governance and continuous improvements.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and communicating vision for technical evolution of PowerCurve® and related products and capabilities
- Participate or lead architecture initiatives
- Ensure architectural integrity of software solutions by driving adoption of standards and best practices
- Be an active member of the Architecture Practice, promoting wider collaboration across different Product teams
- Participate/Lead in research and Proof of Concept activities
- Deliver quality technical/technology recommendations, proposals and documentations
- Keep track of new advances in internal technology areas and propose improvements
- Mentor and inspire Scrum teams
- Influence to improve E2E development, testing and operational practices
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (internal & external) and share / sell the solution that is being proposed
- Contributes task, ideas and estimates to planning process
- Contributes with ideas and suggestions for solution designs
- Responsible to produce technical designs and communicate them to development team to enable efficient build of the solutions
- Participates in reviews of software engineers’ code to deliver high quality solutions
- Provide technical training within the team to ensure constant knowledge growth
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Strong passion for software architecture, governance, development processes, technical details, and technologies
- 5 years of relevant experience as Software Architect
- Experience in designing solutions for high performance, scalability and reliability; knowledge in Microservices & SaaS architecture, Web
- Services/SOA Connectivity
- Proficient in OOAD and software technologies including Java (Client-side, Server-side, Security APIs, Web development, Spring/MVC/Spring Boot,
- JSP/Servlets, OSGi, Hibernate), Workflow, BPM platforms, Business rules frameworks, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Rest/JSON, SOAP/XML,
- Oracle (Exadata, etc.) , Single Sign-On (SSO), HTML5, Performance Tuning/Profiling, Testing frameworks
- Experience with and an appreciation of the benefits of software engineering practices and design such as: coding standards, agile (scrum) methodologies and test-driven development
- Excellent communication, negotiations, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, programming, troubleshooting, analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-moving and challenging environment
Experience or interest in any of the following will be considered as an advantage:
- Spark
- Parquet
